Kevin J. Leahy

Kevin holds a Master’s in Education from Antioch College and has over 35 years of clinical, management and leadership experience in the field of disabilities, human services and higher education.  He has held the position of Executive Director at the Cooperative for Human Services since 2000.  His past experiences include serving as President of the Kent County Rhode Island Arc, Chief Executive Officer of FOR Community Services in Chicopee, MA and Principal of Acclaim Management & Training Solutions.  Kevin is also a past president of the MA Council of Human Service Providers and the MA Association of Rehabilitation Providers.


Amy Miner-Fletcher

Amy is a career long leader in the service of others with over 20 years of leadership experience as an operational and clinically trained executive. Amy holds a BA in Psychology, a MA in Counseling Psychology, and LMHC licensure. She has a background in growing, managing, mentoring, and motivating teams to support employees in achieving their highest potential.

In prior positions, Amy focused on serving families, children, and vulnerable individuals, with an emphasis in early childhood and autism services in Massachusetts and Connecticut. She has a proven track record of collaborating cross-functionally, developing new leaders, and spearheading multi-million-dollar service lines and mission and value driven programs by identifying and implementing industry trends and best practices.

In this role Amy will lead all program focused activities, further develop CHS’s vision, strategy and structure while strengthening staff capacity and our organizational culture.

 


Glen Charney

Chief Financial Officer

Glen Charney is an accountant with nearly 25 years of experience working as a chief financial officer for non profit organizations in Massachusetts.  Glen is a general accountant who is highly experienced with non profit budgeting and government reporting.  He oversees all contracts and billing with government funders, private vendors and consultants, as well as, all risk management, payroll and financial systems for the organization.


Janice Ellis-Ballerini, LMHC

Director of Clinical Support Services

Janice Ellis is a MA Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a M.S. in Counseling and Psychological Services. She has over 20 years of experience providing therapeutic, counseling and clinical services to individuals with special needs. Janice manages the following services for CHS individuals: Intake, Assessment and Placement; Counseling and Mental Health; and Behavior Management (Applied Behavioral Analysis). She also oversees the training of all staff in implementing CHS Positive Behavioral Supports Systems; develops partnerships with local, community mental health providers for individuals served; and develops new clinical and educational supports needed.


Gale Alles

Director of Operations

Gale Alles is a senior leader with broad management experience in the healthcare, consumer marketing, real estate and technology industries. She is responsible for operations and marketing across the organization and identifies new business opportunities and partnerships.


Hayley Galcik-Johnson

Director of Healthcare Services

Hayley Galcik-Johnson, RN, has a leadership role on an interdisciplinary team as Director of Healthcare Services. With over twelve years of nursing experience in the Human Services field, Hayley brings specialized knowledge of medication management to the organization. Hayley collaborates with Senior Management in the development of healthcare strategies and assures full implementation of programs that meet organization goals resulting in high-quality care.


Edward Napier

Director of IT and Facilities

Ed Napier oversees maintenance and repairs to all residences and program sites.  His expertise includes a comprehensive knowledge of all State and Federal health, accessibility and safety requirements. Ed is responsible for capital building projects and subcontracts for landscaping and other maintenance and construction work.  He directs all IT operations, including computer hardware and software operations, computer networking, data backup and storage operations.


It is important to note that the majority of CHS managers have been with the organization an average of 8 to 10 years.  Many have been promoted  from within to managerial positions by virtue of their exemplary work, dedication and commitment to the individuals we serve.
