I recognize that you cannot fully appreciate where you’re going without understanding where you’ve been. Since CHS was founded, we have been guided by true visionaries and effective advocates. The responsiveness and vitality of our services have been advanced by our passion for what’s possible. We strive to bring meaning and actualize these words through our deep, abiding commitment to those we serve. We do all we can to continually improve and learn through our experiences while building on our achievements. We find creative and effective ways to assist each individual, and their families, friends and other professionals to live life to the fullest. CHS hasn’t just grown in size but in quality, reputation, innovation, and impact. Over time countless individuals and employees have grown because of the opportunities offered to them by our organization.

Sustaining these efforts requires a progressive community organization made possible through devotion to mission, keeping clear and abiding principles, and following sound practices. Our values are centered on the individuals, promoting self worth and dignity; while creating opportunity for achievement. These ideals have and will continue to serve as the cornerstone of our organization.
